I am a Carlsbad native through and through, 8th generation to be exact! I have traveled the world and lived in many different places, but California is my favorite. I graduated from the Vidal Sassoon Academy in 1994, top of my class. I have owned my salon and have a large posse of clients since the beginning. I am a precision hair stylist and master colorist. I love my career and it shows! One of my favorite compliments that I overheard one client telling another is, "Jen is a sure thing."

I have been a hairstylist for 7 years. I love my industry and have been fortunate to have training from some of the best hair stylists in this industry. The foundation of my training was with Homer Prefontaine, amazing colorist, celebrity hair stylist and platform artist. I had the opportunity to do platform work with the Artego hair color line, hair styling for various runway shows, and hair styling for fashion pictorial models. I wanted to learn more about the "on-set" hair styling and the Great Lengths hair extensions I was using.
I then moved to Los Angeles and started work for Ken Paves, ultra celebrity hair stylist and hair extension guru. There I had extensive training in hair extensions and hair styling. I also helped with the Oprah Winfrey's philanthropist show and the Max Factor runway shows.
